Hey There!

My name is Audree, and I am a NYC-based fashion stylist, writer, fashion consultant and creator of Simply Audree Kate blog. Simply Audree Kate was created in 2012 as a hobby and resume builder in college, and has since grown to a global brand and business. The website focuses on fashion, lifestyle, beauty and travel topics. I also talk about styling tips and tricks you can implement into your everyday dressing, and what it’s like being a 20-something small-town Arizona girl faking it in the Big Apple one day at a time.

I love vintage shopping, red lipstick, discovering the best place to eat on vacation, and I’m guilty of wearing too much jewelry at once. I grew up sketching outfits and sewing with my mom, and rummaging through garage sales and vintage stores with my dad. I graduated form Arizona State University with degrees in Marketing and Journalism, and my honors thesis was focused on implementing a fashion merchandising program, and fashion resources for students at the university. I moved to NYC in 2015 to pursue a career in editorial magazines, and have had the opportunity to work at Glamour, Redbook, Editorialist, and O, The Oprah Magazine. I have since gone on my own as a stylist, consultant and  content creator.

The goal of Simply Audree Kate is to curate a space that helps my readers think outside of the box, become inspired and let their creative spirit fly. Welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoy and stay awhile!
